Come join us for a new season of summer fun! We have some exciting new things this year, life free WiFi and a new inflatable screen for movie night. We are also offering an hour of free swimming to seniors every Wednesday from 11am to noon. We have new rental options, new concession times, and reduced pricing on some of our Season Passes as well. If you are out & want some lunch, a cool drink, a snack, or even an ice cream, stop by the concession stand and grab something to go. Remember, you don't have to own a home or even live in Guyan Estates to come to the pool or use the building. Everyone is welcome! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Just tidbits from March 29, 2012 meeting minutes

The board recently met in March to get things geared up for the pool season 2012.  Here's a few tidbits of information:

* Hot dog Sale coming soon for the first Saturday in May bi-annual community rummage sale.  This is one of our biggest money makers that help us open the pool-please consider volunteering!  You can volunteer in so many ways with your time, monetarily or just giving us items (list of suggestions coming soon).  Even if you are the mustard squirter that day-you can help!

* Pool opening date is Saturday May 26th-Memorial Day Weekend. Information coming soon for a Memorial Day Bicycle Parade!

* Friday evening May 25 is the community picnic at the pool.  Picnic is for GE residents only.

*Plan to see a monthly newsletter this summer from your community pool!

* The hot water tank has been replaced! Thanks Jim McSweeney!

*The gutter on the pool side of the building is back up! Thanks David Bowling & Continuous Guttering!

*Jessie Hall donated her penny jar from last fall. Thankyou Jim and Nancy for rllling them all up...$13.50! See how every cent counts? Anyone can help!

* Jim & Nancy continue to recycle cans. They have purchased several different items for the pool with some of the money...like a sump pump, chairs, a pizza oven, thermometers for the pool, cleaning brushes, etc.  Thankyou!

*Building committee:  Back flow prevention valve installed on water pipes as required by the water company.

*Non-skid surfacing is now on the exterior stairs of the community building.
