cleaning and pumping
A big thank you goes out to Donnie Miller from Miller Septic Service!! He came over today and finished pumping the water out. No slime, no grime, no junk left in there. Only a few leaves that are stuck in the 3 foot section that will need power washed. We can't can't thank you enough!! Also a big shout out to Jim and Nancy McSweeney and Joan Rohde for spending their evening power washing half of the baby pool and half of the lawn furniture.
Thank you for your continued donations....

more donations
Thank you Thank you Thank you for the continued donations. I would like to thank Laura ( I did not catch your last name) who lives on Daugherty Dr. for taking time out of her day and walking door to door and asking for more donations. What commitment! I would also like to add that we had a 10 year old little girl give 20 dollars out of her Piggy bank and also a lady who grew up in Guyan Estates send money from NC! I feel that we are pulling together to make our community what is used to be. Jim McSweeney started to power wash the baby pool and lawn furniture today and will finish it tomorrow. I spoke with a lady today that said Wendy's is going to donate a box of mustard packs, ketchup packs, and napkins for our hot dog sale. We already had some donated prior to this but the shelf life is 9 months so we will be good on those condiments for our concession stand this summer. Thank you Wendy's!! We received 360 dollars of donations today.

update fot 4-21-10
The following is an email from Alesia.......
Donnie came to pump the pool. He pumped 8000 gallons out and it took almost 2 hours so he stopped. He is coming back tomorrow with a trash pump to finish because it is faster.
Alesia
Everything is going smoothly thus far. Lisa filed the 2005 state taxes this morning. We are still hoping for some of these fees to be reduced.
The following people donated today....
The Garvin Family-25.00
Kim Gibson and Neva Gibson-25.00
Paul and Linda Morrison-25.00
Thanks you for your continued donations. Please continue to tell your friends and neighbors that we still need donations and to please consider donating to our community pool!
