I would like to thank Laura ( I did not catch your last name) who lives on Daugherty Dr. for taking time out of her day and walking door to door and asking for more donations. What commitment! I would also like to add that we had a 10 year old little girl give 20 dollars out of her Piggy bank and also a lady who grew up in Guyan Estates send money from NC! I feel that we are pulling together to make our community what is used to be. Jim McSweeney started to power wash the baby pool and lawn furniture today and will finish it tomorrow. I spoke with a lady today that said Wendy's is going to donate a box of mustard packs, ketchup packs, and napkins for our hot dog sale. We already had some donated prior to this but the shelf life is 9 months so we will be good on those condiments for our concession stand this summer. Thank you Wendy's!! We received 360 dollars of donations today.
